Makin' Whoopie LLC started as a simple passion for baking and sweets. With the unanimous support from her family and friends, Baker Lindsey Kaufmann took her hobby to another level. Makin' Whoopie catered their first official event in May 2017.
We hope these sweet treats, unique to the lowcountry, become just as much favorites here as they are in their origin in New England and Amish Pennsylvania. Lindsey continues to make variations of the classic whoopie pie with a variety flavors that can please any palate. We will be offering catering for weddings, parties, and other events.

"We hired Lindsey without even trying her whoopie pies first... thats how amazing the reviews we heard of Makin' Whoopie were. All the hype around Makin' Whoopie is 100% true! My, now, husband and I are not traditional cake people and were on the hunt for something more unique, delicious, and fun for our wedding. As soon as we heard of Makin' Whoopie, we were sold. Whoopie pies are delicious, they are easy handheld serving sizes, and all the flavors Lindsey offers makes them so unique. We did 3 flavors for our wedding and all were gone after the mad dessert rush! Thank goodness Lindsey pre made my husband and I each a personal box containing all 3 flavors that she handed our wedding planner for safe keeping. So thoughtful! We could savor them in peace later on. Lindsey is so quick to respond and such a pleasure to work with! She delivered the whoopie pies right to our venue! We had whoopie pies by Makin' Whoopie at my daughter's wedding. They sat in a beautiful display next to the wedding cake and were a huge hit- more popular than the cake itself ! Absolutely delicious and the owner/founder/baker couldn't have been nicer , more professional, and customer oriented. The bride and groom wanted different flavors ( red velvet and ginger cake) and both were Wonderful. Thanks for making this a very special day !
